MLA Gopal Chandra Roy Donates Ambulance from Development Fund

Agartala, 16th November 2025: MLA Gopal Chandra Roy has provided an ambulance from the MLA Local Area Development Fund. On Sunday, he formally handed over the keys of the vehicle to the authorities of North Banamalipur Young’s Corner Club.

Speaking to journalists at the handover ceremony, MLA Roy said the initiative was taken to ensure the development of the area and the welfare of its people, irrespective of political affiliation. He emphasized that the ambulance is being provided using public tax money, and the move aims to ensure the proper utilization of those funds.

Praising the social role of Young’s Corner Club, Roy added that if people from all walks of life—youths, farmers, employees and daily wage earners—come forward for the development of the locality, he will continue to extend wholehearted support to such social initiatives from the MLA fund.

The donation of the ambulance has generated excitement among local residents. They believe the initiative will significantly improve emergency medical services in the area.
