Agartala, 14th June 2025: MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury laid the foundation stone for a two-storey market complex in Ekrai Bazar under Nakshirai ADC Village. The new structure will accommodate 16 shops, aimed at supporting local traders and strengthening the rural economy.
Addressing the gathering, Choudhury reaffirmed his commitment to balanced development across both hills and plains. “Development is not limited to a particular section or geography. We are working equally for all communities, irrespective of political differences,” he said.
He also took a swipe at previous administrations, alleging that they had failed to ensure holistic development and neglected the welfare of the people. “Unlike the past, we are prioritizing both infrastructure and public services. Projects like seven new market complexes, upgraded roads, and improved healthcare facilities are already underway,” he added.
The ceremony was attended by local leaders, panchayat representatives and government officials highlighting the administration’s push for community-focused development.
