Responding to their plight, local MLA Sushanta Deb pledged his support and provided financial assistance to the affected traders.
This afternoon, during a function held at a wedding hall in Bishalgarh, MLA Deb distributed the aid from his salary allowance.
The gesture, coinciding with Chaitra Sankranti, brought relief and joy to the traders, who expressed their gratitude for the MLA’s timely intervention.
