Agartala Aug 27: Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the newly built temple of Shantikali Ashram in Amarpur on Saturday.RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat reached Shantikali Ashram located in Amarpur Sarabong area on Saturday at 10 am.
Chittaranjan Maharaj of the ashram welcomed Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and took him to the temporary guest house. Thereafter at 10:30 in the morning RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat entered the main temple along with Chittaranjan Maharaj. Breaking a coconut while standing on the steps of the temple he inaugurated the newly built temple.
Later Dr. Mohan Bhagwat visited the entire temple premises and participated in the ritual and puja. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Union Minister of State Giriraj Singh, Janajati Welfare minister Rampada Jamatia, MP Rebati Tripura and BJP Tripura president Rajib Bhattacharjee among others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
