During his tenure, crime rates have significantly declined. Recently, certain individuals have been engaging in illegal drug trade, attempting to corrupt the youth. To support the state’s initiative of creating a drug-free Tripura, OC Jayanta Das has been tirelessly working.
Acting on information about ganja cultivation in North Takma, the OC led a large police force in a raid this morning that destroyed approximately 2,000 ganja plants. Jayanta Das’s past operations have also seen similar success, earning him the appreciation of the local community.
