Agartala: March 13. Rajya Sabha MP Binay Viswan has written a letter to the Chairman of Rajya Sabha seeking a discussion on post poll violence of Tripura.
In a letter to the Chairman of Rajya sabha the MP said, ” I hereby give notice to suspend the discussion of the house for half an hour and to discuss the post poll violence in Tripura”.
He said that the series of violent incidents have made thousand of innocent people homeless and several hundreds are injured.
“As we have been there in Tripura, the law and order situation was to worsened that lives and property of the citizen are under severe threats and this need urgent discussion”, he said.
