Agartala, 31st October 2025: In a landmark move to foster academic excellence and research innovation, Mata Tripura Sundari Open University (MTSOU) and Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU), Prayagraj, India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 24, 2025. The agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative journey aimed at unlocking new opportunities in higher education and scholarly exploration.
The MoU was formally signed by Professor Dr. Ghanshyam Singh, Registrar of MTSOU, and Dr. Binay Kumar, Registrar of UPRTOU in the presence of Professor Satyakam, Vice-Chancellor of UPRTOU and Professor Masud, Vice-Chancellor of MTSOU.
The partnership seeks to initiate and explore the development of new academic programs between the two institutions. It is expected to create dynamic avenues for faculty and students to engage in meaningful research that addresses both local and global challenges.
