MTSOU and UPRTOU forge strategic academic partnership to advance research and innovation

Agartala, 31st October 2025:  In a landmark move to foster academic excellence and research innovation, Mata Tripura Sundari Open University (MTSOU) and Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU), Prayagraj, India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 24, 2025. The agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative journey aimed at unlocking new opportunities in higher education and scholarly exploration.

The MoU was formally signed by Professor Dr. Ghanshyam Singh, Registrar of MTSOU, and Dr. Binay Kumar, Registrar of UPRTOU in the presence of Professor Satyakam, Vice-Chancellor of UPRTOU and Professor Masud, Vice-Chancellor of MTSOU.

The partnership seeks to initiate and explore the development of new academic programs between the two institutions. It is expected to create dynamic avenues for faculty and students to engage in meaningful research that addresses both local and global challenges. The agreement reflects a shared vision to tackle global issues such as education, development, and sustainable innovation.

Through joint research initiatives, academic exchange programs, and knowledge-sharing efforts, the MoU aims to generate impactful outcomes that transcend institutional boundaries and contribute to positive societal change.

UPRTOU, renowned nationally for its academic innovation, brings significant strength to this collaboration. Together, the two universities aspire to elevate the standards of academic and research excellence, delivering broad benefits to educators, learners, and the wider community.
