Murder at Kalyanpur; Police arrested Pradhan of Dwarikapur VP

Agartala, February 19. After five years of not getting government opportunities, a person died in a scuffle while complaining at the Pradhan’s house after the election. The Pradhan of Dwarikapur village panchayat arrested.

It is reported that a person named Dilip Shukla Das went to village panchayat Pradhan Krishna Kamal Das to seek answers after the end of the assembly elections after being deprived of government facilities during the five years of the BJP and IPFT coalition government.

The booth number 43 of Ramchandraghat assembly constituency in Dwarikapur area got heated late on Saturday night. It is alleged that a group of 10 miscreants led by Dilip Shukla Das raided the house of Pradhan. Then the Pradhan’s son Amit Shukla Das was injured. However, Dilip Shukla Das was later seriously injured in the Pradhan’s counter attack. He suffered severe head injuries. Kalyanpur fire brigade personnel reached the spot and took the injured person to Kalyanpur hospital for treatment, the doctor on duty immediately shifted him to GBP hospital at Agartala. But Dilip Shukla Das died that night.

As soon as this news spread, the situation in the whole area started to deteriorate. SDPO Prasun Kanti Tripura, Additional Police Officer, TSR, Central Security Force jawans were deployed in the respective areas.

Kalyanpur police arrested Panchayat Pradhan Krishna Kamal Das following the complaint. Currently, the situation in the entire area is stagnant. However, within 72 hours of the polling, this incident has spread in the entire state.

According to the police, an investigation has been started. Now let’s see what comes out of the police investigation.
