Agartala, 15th November 2025: A pall of grief has descended over Ward No. 5’s Kacherghat area following the mysterious death of 25-year-old Aniket Dey in Bengaluru. His lifeless body was discovered inside a room alongside another deceased youth, sending shockwaves through his family and the wider community.
Local sources confirmed that Aniket, son of Rajat Dey of Kacherghat, had been employed at a private company in Bengaluru for the past four years. Three months ago, he returned home to attend a social function, spending some time with his family before resuming work. Known to be in regular contact with his parents, Aniket’s sudden silence last Tuesday night raised alarm when he failed to answer his mother’s call.
Concerned relatives reached out to his colleagues, only to learn that Aniket had been found dead in his room. Beside him lay the body of another young man, Ayan Sutradhar, a resident of Madhyapara in Kamalpur subdivision. The families have alleged foul play, insisting that the deaths were unnatural and demanding a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha announced via social media that the state government has arranged for the bodies of both youths to be brought back to their respective homes. Aniket’s father, Rajat Dey, stated that family members have already left for Bengaluru and, once circumstances permit, his son’s body will be returned to Kacherghat. He further urged authorities to conduct a detailed inquiry to expose the mystery behind the tragedy.
The sudden deaths of Aniket and Ayan have plunged the community into deep sorrow. Relatives and local residents are united in their demand that the real facts be brought to light and that those responsible face appropriate action.
