Agartala, 27th January 2025: The mysterious death of young bride Reshmi Debbarma from Sipaipara has raised serious concerns. On January 19, Reshmi’s body was found and her husband Shailen Debbarma was charged with murder.
Police sources informed that the initial autopsy report suggested that the young woman died of natural causes. However, the deceased’s family has vehemently rejected this conclusion, accusing Shailen of causing their daughter’s death and demanding strict punishment for him.
The police are actively investigating the case. Due to uncertainty about the cause of death, they have not yet taken Shailen into custody.
