Nabadal slams CPIM for setting up industry to manufacture mafias

Agartala, 25th April 2023:  Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) newly inducted Chairman Nabadal Banik today lashed the erstwhile left-front government for setting up the industry to manufacture mafias in the state.

After inspecting AD Nagar Industrial Estate here in Agartala, Nabadal said that his department will work to find out a solution of the problems of the industrialists are facing in the state.

“Today my motive behind the visit of the industrial area is to find out the problems and to inspect the ongoing up gradation works. I have also received a series of demands including arrangement of security. I want to assure that our department would talk with the local police station and Sub-divisional police officer for providing tight security in the industrial areas”, said Banik.

He said that during inspection the industry owners associations have also raised demands of drainage and roads which the department has already taken initiated to construct drainage system and road and directed the agency who have engaged with the work to complete it in as soon as possible.

“I want to tell the agency to complete the pending work as soon as possible as the due time of the project has already been completed. Street lights will also be installed in the area. We had also a meeting with the AMC to sign a MoU for cleaning of wastages. Drinking water arrangements will also be done. Our department will work for the welfare of the people”, said the chairman.

He also lashed out the then Left front government and said, “Earlier the factories in the state used to manufacture mafias but after BJP formed government we slowly overcome all the problems. Six days back when I visited Bodhjung Nagar Industrial Area, the industrialist thanked Chief Minister Manik Saha as around 90 percent of the problems were solved but still now some problems are there and our department is working to solve all these issues.”
