Agartala, 17th December 2024:  The National Cadet Corps (NCC) organized the Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hostel in the capital on Tuesday, marking the first time such an event was held in the state. The program was graced by the presence of Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu.

Addressing the media, Governor Nallu highlighted the significant role of the NCC in fostering discipline, dedication, and patriotism among boys and girls. “NCC instills a sense of devotion to the country and prepares students to participate in the Indian Army from their school life,” he stated.

Governor Nallu emphasized that the NCC has been fulfilling this duty since its inception, with many Major Generals of the Indian Army having been trained through the NCC. He urged parents to encourage their children to join the NCC for training. “By joining the NCC, children will stay away from smartphones and addiction, and develop a strong sense of patriotism and discipline,” he added.

Later, the Governor interacted with the students, further encouraging them to participate in the NCC. “I call on all boys and girls in the state to join the NCC in the coming days,” he said, inspiring the youth to embrace the values and opportunities provided by the NCC.
