NCC Police Arrest Six Bike Thieves, Recover Six Stolen Motorcycles and Gold Chain

Agartala, 31st January 2026:The NCC Police Station successfully arrested six bike thieves and recovered six stolen motorcycles, along with a stolen gold chain, during a special operation..

According to police sources, two motorcycles had earlier been reported stolen from different areas under NCC Police Station. During interrogation of the arrested thieves, police recovered four more stolen bikes and arrested another accomplice, taking the total number of recovered motorcycles to six.

Addressing the media, SDPO Subrata Barman said that cases related to stolen motorcycles from Teliamura, Bishalgarh, and Garchara had been registered at NCC Police Station. Acting on these cases, police launched an investigation and recovered four motorcycles from the Konaban area before they could be smuggled into Bangladesh.

Following sustained interrogation of the five arrested suspects, police managed to apprehend one more associate involved in the theft racket. In a separate recovery, police also seized a gold chain that had been stolen from the Goyala Basti area.

Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to identify other members of the theft network and recover additional stolen property.
