NDA’s Electoral Success Reflects Public Trust in Modi’s Leadership: Biplab Deb

Date:

Agartala,  10th  October 2026 :   Tripura BJP MP and party national general secretary Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday said the NDA’s electoral victories in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry demonstrated the strength of public support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the alliance’s political vision.

Reacting to the results, Deb said the people had once again expressed their confidence in the NDA through the democratic process. He asserted that electoral outcomes should be accepted with humility and that the people’s mandate must be respected by every political party.

Taking aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the INDI Alliance, the BJP leader said repeatedly raising questions about institutions after electoral defeats would not change the people’s decision. He maintained that the electorate holds the highest authority in a democracy and that its verdict must be acknowledged.

Deb also congratulated the party’s leadership and workers for their dedication and efforts in securing the victories. He extended his best wishes to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy.

He further praised the respective state BJP leadership and party cadres for their organisational work, public engagement and commitment during the electoral process.

Deb said the results would provide renewed encouragement to party workers and strengthen their resolve to work for the people. He emphasised that maintaining public confidence through effective leadership, accountability and continued engagement with citizens remains essential to democratic politics.
