Agartala, 5th March 2026 :  Newly appointed teachers have expressed frustration as they have not received joining letters despite submitting their offer letters. On Thursday, they staged a protest in front of the Education Building to voice their concerns.

The teachers stated that their offer letters were issued by the TRBT on November 24. Following departmental procedures, they submitted the offer letters on December 8. However, three months have passed, and the authorities have yet to schedule their joining dates.

A total of 106 teachers were recruited for Physical Education, but no joining dates have been provided. The teachers demanded that joining letters be issued immediately so they can start their positions.

Later, they met with the department’s Joint Director, who assured them that the matter would be looked into.
