Agartala, March 15: The newly elected committee of the Agartala Press Club on Wednesday paid a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha.
Agartala Press Club president Jayanta Bhattacharjee and former secretary of the club Pranab Sarkar led by the entire working committee met the Chief Minister at 11 AM at the Chief Minister’s official residence here.
On behalf of the Agartala Press Club, Secretary Ramakanta Dey handed over the felicitation memento to the Chief Minister. In the interaction, the Chief Minister assured cooperation in the overall development of the Agartala Press Club and assured to arrange a lift for the convenience of using the four floors of the Agartala Press Club building.
Moreover, the newly elected committee of Agartala Press Club today also met Mayor Deepak Majumder of Agartala Municipal Corporation in a courtesy meeting. In the interaction, Mayor Majumder assured to complete the drain work which has been blocked for a long time at the Press Club.
