Agartala, 28th February 2024 : Celebrated singer Shaan is poised to headline the closing and award ceremony of the 7th North Eastern Youth Festival in Agartala. The event, scheduled for tomorrow at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, was announced by Tinku Roy, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, during a press conference.
Minister Roy shared that the festival, inaugurated on February 26 at Purbasha premises in Agartala, would culminate in a grand ceremony featuring prize distribution and a lineup of diverse cultural programs. Renowned music artist Shaan, also known as Shantanu Mukherjee, is slated to deliver a captivating performance. The finale promises a mix of cultural presentations from both local and external talents.
To facilitate the smooth flow of the event, Minister Roy assured that the program would be open to all, with well-organized parking facilities in place to avoid traffic congestion in the city. Specific parking arrangements were outlined for visitors from South Tripura at Umakant and Nagerjla bus stands, while those from North Tripura were directed to Khudiram Bose School Grounds adjacent to Jail Road. Additionally, individuals from Khowai, Kamalpur, Kailashahar, and Dhalai were advised to utilize Radhanagar bus stand for parking.
Tinku appealed to the public for their cooperation in ensuring the success of tomorrow’s festival. The press conference also saw the presence of the Secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, along with PK Chakraborty and Sports Department Director SB Nath.
