North Point Class XII School celebrates “Mother Language Day” at Dharmanagar

Agartala, February 21, 2023: On the occasion of “Mother Language Day”, North Point Class XII School in Dharmanagar organized a tribute program in memory of martyrs and mother language on Tuesday.

School Management Committee Chairman Dr Rajat Bhattacharjee, Secretary Debamoy Bhattacharjee, Vice President Debbrata Chakraborty, School Principal Shashanka Shekhar Das, Vice-Principal Debasish Bhattacharya, Academic Director Dipankar Gupta and other teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the school were present on the occasion.

In the beginning, the guests’ paid tribute by offering floral tributes to the portraits of the martyrs. A special issue of ‘Amar Ekushe’, an e-magazine, was launched by North Point Class XII School at the tribute ceremony in presence of all dignitaries.

After that, many of the present guests and teachers explained the significance of “Ekush” February Mother Language Day and the present teachers’ poets Subrata Roy, Chirasree Debnath, Rajesh Bhattacharya read their own recitations on “Ekush” February.

The entire program was conducted by the school teacher Jayatri Bhattacharjee. After a brief ceremony, the principal of the school, Shashank Shekhar Das, announced the end of the commemoration program by explaining the significance of ‘Mother Language Day’ on February 21st.
