Agartala, December 4, 2022: The volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS) of the Women’s College here distributed winter clothes and blankets among the needy and poor people of Ambedkar Palli area in Jogendranagar in presence of local MLA and former speaker Rebati Mohan Das on Sunday.
Speaking to media personnel, one of the senior volunteers of the Women’s College NSS unit said “The main motto of NSS is ‘Not Me But You’ describes motive we all for all. Keeping this in mind, Women’s College NSS Unit adopted Ambedkar Palli village at Jogendranagar. The college authorities have done many programs in this village even during COVID pandemic period”.
“The NSS volunteers of Women’s College from the state government often distribute various items among the needy people in this village by spending the money allotted for their tiffin”, she added.
