Online Yoga session to mark International Yoga Day; Ministry of AYUSH aims for Guinness World Record

Agartala, 11th June 2026:   As part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, the Ministry of AYUSH, in collaboration with Habild Healthtech Private Limited, has launched an initiative to create a Guinness World Record through a massive online yoga session.

This year’s International Yoga Day theme, “Yoga for Healthy Aging,” highlights the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being, especially for healthy living across age groups. The online yoga session will be broadcast live through the Ministry of AYUSH’s official YouTube channel on June 14 from 6:15 AM to 7:35 AM.

The State AYUSH Mission has invited citizens to participate in this historic event and contribute to the record attempt. Interested participants can register by giving a missed call to the toll-free number 1800-315-7008 or by scanning the designated QR code. After registration, participants will receive a session joining link on their registered WhatsApp number.

The State AYUSH Mission informed that each participant must join the session individually through their personal mobile phone, tablet, or computer. Every registered device connected to the online yoga session will be counted as a participant for the Guinness World Record attempt.

The mission has appealed to people from all sections of society to actively participate in the event and become part of this global celebration of yoga and wellness.
