Agartala, August 14, 2023: In anticipation of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kisan Morcha spearheaded a novel initiative, orchestrating the planting of paddy fields in the Aralia area of the capital city on Monday. Kisan Morcha’s state president Jahar Saha, graced the event with their presence, underscoring the party’s dedication to agricultural enhancement.
Saha articulated the scope of their undertaking, revealing their intent to sow paddy across 76 kani lands throughout the entire state. This ambitious endeavour aligns seamlessly with the spirit of the 77th Independence Day.
Addressing the gathering, Saha emphasized the collaborative efforts between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State BJP President Rajiv Bhattacharya, working harmoniously towards the upliftment of farmers.
He highlighted the substantial benefits accruing to farmers from the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a government pledge to provide Rs 6000, which is set to be amplified to Rs 8000. Saha expressed optimism, predicting a brighter future for the financial and societal conditions of the state’s farming community in the days to come.
