Agartala, 4th February 2026 :   A wave of panic has gripped the Santirbazar area of Kamalpur subdivision after workers at the Five Star Bricks Industry brick kiln alleged mysterious and frightening incidents involving “supernatural forces.”

According to several workers, strange occurrences have been unfolding at the kiln premises over the past few days. Claiming they were being harassed by unseen entities, many laborers have abandoned work and left for their native villages in Bihar.

Workers alleged that these “spirits” not only threatened them to vacate the kiln but also engaged in disturbing acts such as pushing children and shoving people near water. Despite repeated complaints to the kiln management, workers say the owners dismissed their concerns.

Faced with fear and frustration, the workers decided to quit. Adding to their grievances, they accused the management of withholding pending wages even after being informed of their departure. On Wednesday, workers gathered outside the kiln demanding payment, but when no representative of the owners appeared, anger flared and protests broke out.

Police soon arrived at the site to pacify the situation. Officers spoke with the workers and assured them that the matter would be investigated thoroughly.

Meanwhile, the alleged “ghostly disturbances” have sparked widespread speculation and anxiety in the locality. While some residents believe there may be other underlying reasons behind the incidents, others view the matter as serious. The atmosphere remains tense, with rumors and theories circulating rapidly.

Police sources confirmed that an investigation is underway and necessary action will be taken based on the workers’ complaints. The outcome of the probe is expected to determine the next course of events.
