Agartala, 27th November 2025: A passenger bus met with a major accident in Lalchhara area of Khowai district on its way to the Swami Vivekananda Maidan rally. According to the driver, the bus lost control after hitting construction materials, including stones, that had been left on the road. The vehicle veered off course and rammed straight into a residential house.
The sudden impact left the family inside facing grave danger, though they narrowly escaped serious harm. Alarmed by the loud crash, local residents rushed to the spot and immediately began rescue efforts.
Authorities have yet to confirm the number of injured passengers or their identities. Police have already reached the site and launched an investigation. Officials stated that responsibility for leaving construction materials on the road will be examined.
