Passenger Bus Overturns in Daluma, 22 Injured

Agartala, 22nd December 2025:  At least 22 passengers were injured after a passenger bus overturned near the headquarters of the Fifth Battalion of the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) in Daluma on the Amarpur–Nutanbazar road on today. According to sources, the bus lost control and overturned in the area adjacent to the TSR battalion headquarters. Soon after the incident was reported, TSR ambulances and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations. All the injured passengers were rescued and taken to Amarpur Subdivision Hospital for treatment.

Hospital authorities said that one of the injured, whose condition is critical, has been referred to Gomti District Hospital for advanced medical care. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. Concerned authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
