Agartala: June 30. Several Congress leaders led by Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha and former MLA Shri Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl met the families of those who died in a tragic accident at Kumarghat who were electrocuted during Ulto Rath Yatra. He also visited the hospital and met the victims who were injured in the incident.
And later met the SDM of Kumarghat and demanded to provide all kinds of help to the injured and killed in such a tragic accident. During the visit Saha also questioned the role of the administration in this tragic accident.
And he also demanded that a committee should be formed to find out the reason behind this tragic accident and conduct a fair high-level investigation to bring the real culprits under the law and provide exemplary punishment.
