PCC observes 139th Foundation Day with Commitment to Strengthen Nation’s Foundation

 Agartala, December 28:  In a solemn celebration marking the 139th foundation day of the Congress, the Pradesh Congress in Tripura reaffirmed its dedication to advancing the nation’s core values and principles.

Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha, addressing attendees at the Tripura Pradesh Congress Bhawan articulated the party’s unwavering commitment to fortifying the country’s fundamental structures.

Flanked by prominent party members including MLAs Sudip Roy Barman and Gopal chandra Roy, the event saw Gopal Chandra Roy hoisting the national flag, symbolizing the unity and resilience of the nation. President Ashish Kumar Saha then invoked the party’s rich tradition, emphasizing the importance of drawing inspiration from the great leaders of the National Congress.

The commemorative event included a heartfelt homage to departed leaders, a tradition deeply embedded in the Congress’s ethos. Party leaders paid their respects to late luminaries, underscoring the party’s respect for its historical legacy.

In a symbolic gesture, the leaders of the Pradesh Congress, including President Ashish Kumar Saha, embarked on a journey to Gandhighat to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Speaking at the occasion, State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha expressed gratitude for the dignified celebration of the Congress’s foundation day in the state. He reiterated the party’s resolve to forge ahead, drawing inspiration from the enduring legacy of the National Congress’s great leaders.
