Agartala, 21st March 2024: Transport Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, emphasized the resounding pro-Modi sentiment during door-to-door campaigns, highlighting the anticipation for Narendra Modi’s re-election as Prime Minister. Chowdhury, while engaging in a campaign in Majlishpur Assembly Constituency under the West Parliamentary Constituency, expressed confidence in record margins for both Tripura candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 19 and 26.
He underscored the overwhelming response received across the state, with slogans such as ‘Abki Baar 400 paar’ and ‘Firse Ekbar Modi Sarkar’ echoing support for PM Modi. Chowdhury attributed this fervor to Modi’s commitment to national sovereignty, unity, and development.
The Minister articulated BJP’s optimism for victory in the polls, predicting not only a landslide win for PM Modi but also success for their candidates. He acknowledged the significant participation of women, crediting Modi’s initiatives for their empowerment and societal betterment.
