Agartala, 28th October 2025 : Panic gripped the Maharani area of Teliamura this morning after the dead body of a petrol pump worker was found inside his residence. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Deb (60), a resident of the DM Colony under Teliamura police station.
According to local sources, Deb was formerly employed as a driver but had recently been working at a nearby petrol pump, primarily washing vehicles. On Tuesday morning, neighbors attempted to call him, but received no response. Upon entering his home, they found him lying dead.
Teliamura police station staff arrived at the scene shortly after being alerted and recovered the body from inside the house. It was subsequently sent to the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
The exact cause of death remains unknown, and police have launched an investigation.
