Agartala, 28th October 2025 : Tripura Gramin Bank organized a citywide walkathon early this morning to commemorate Vigilance Awareness Week 2025. The event began today at 7:30 AM from the bank’s head office in Abhoynagar and concluded at Circuit House here, drawing active participation from bank officials and staff.
The walkathon was part of the nationwide observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, held from October 27 to November 2. This year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” underscored the collective role of citizens and institutions in fostering transparency and integrity.
General Manager Anup Kumar Saha addressed media representatives during the event, emphasizing the importance of vigilance, transparency, and ethical conduct in public service. “Vigilance is not a one-time activity—it is a continuous process that strengthens our commitment to ethics, accountability, and honesty in our work,” he stated. He further noted the bank’s ongoing efforts to instill values of integrity, responsibility, and exemplary behavior among its employees.
