Agartala, 23rd April 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to the overall welfare of the people of the state, according to State Transport, Tourism and Food minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday. Speaking at an election rally at Ampinagar Girls School Maidan in support of BJP candidate Kriti Devi Debbarman, Chowdhury emphasized the party’s dedication to development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The people have faith in the Modi government, and it is this confidence that will lead to a resounding victory for the BJP nominees in both state seats in the upcoming elections,” Chowdhury said. He further predicted that the people’s love and blessings would ensure the BJP’s triumph.
Chowdhury also expressed his belief that Kriti Devi Debvarma, the BJP’s nominated candidate for the East Tripura constituency, would win by a huge margin. “The people are with the BJP in terms of development work and will continue to be so,” he stated.
The minister stressed the importance of the upcoming elections in realizing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. “We must strengthen PM Modi’s hand for the next generation. The BJP always takes elections very seriously, and we are confident of our victory,” he said.
Chowdhury praised Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to development and the welfare of the people. He also highlighted the strides India has made since 2014, when Modi took office, particularly in terms of tackling corruption.
The minister criticized the alliance between the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Congress, predicting its imminent collapse due to a lack of understanding among its members. He accused the alliance of creating an atmosphere of violence during their rule and of misleading the people.
“Many people were killed for opposing the CPIM. People who voted for Congress in West Bengal and Tripura were killed by CPIM people. They have killed many people, including legislators and ministers of both parties, and have undermined democracy during their 35 years of rule,” Chowdhury alleged.
Chowdhury urged the people to ensure the victory of the BJP candidate to continue the trend of development. “Prime Minister Modi is the guarantee because he always works for development. PM Modi always works for people,” he asserted.
