Agartala, 25th April 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday strongly condemned the recent terror attack on Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not spare those responsible for the heinous act.
Describing the incident as “barbaric and shameful,” Dr. Saha expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives. “I condemn this brutal act in the strongest terms. It’s extremely painful to witness such violence. Many innocent lives, including some from Tripura who were present there, narrowly escaped. The way the pilgrims were targeted is heart-wrenching,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice. “Whatever PM Modi and Amit Shah have said—will be implemented. Those responsible, including any Pakistani elements, will face consequences,” he stated.
Dr. Saha also mentioned that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has personally reviewed the situation in Pahalgam. “The entire nation stands united against such cowardly acts. Tripura stands firmly with the bereaved families. PM Modi will ensure that such tragedies are not repeated in the future,” he added.
