PM Modi’s birthday celebrated with ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and tree plantation program

Agartala, September 17, 2023: In commemoration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a remarkable celebration took place with the initiative of BJP Sadar (Urban) District Committee. A tree plantation program, as well as an enthusiastic Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability and cleanliness were held.

The event took place at the Maharani Tulsibati Girls’ HS School, a symbol of education and growth in the capital. Distinguished figures such as BJP state President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Sadar (Urban) District BJP President, and other prominent leaders graced the occasion with their presence.

Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharjee highlighted the significance of the programs undertaken in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. These initiatives, which include tree planting and a cleanliness campaign, have been strategically planned to continue for the next two Octobers, illustrating a long-term commitment to these causes. Tripura’s citizens conveyed their heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing gratitude for his unwavering support towards the development of the North East region and specifically the state of Tripura.

Following the tree planting program, the spirit of cleanliness took center stage with a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Durga Bari. The event saw the participation of Bhattacharjee, Mayor Dipak Majumder, and other leaders. The cleaning operation at Durga Bari premises was conducted with enthusiasm and dedication, symbolizing the enduring commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the area.

As the brooms swept through Durga Bari premises, it was evident that this commitment to environmental and civic responsibility resonates deeply with the citizens of Sadar (Urban) District, as they celebrated the Prime Minister’s birthday by actively contributing to a cleaner and greener future.
