Agartala, 5th August 2025: In a compassionate move underscoring the government’s commitment to healthcare access, financial assistance has been granted from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the advanced treatment of Gayatri Karmakar, a resident of Ujan Abhaynagar, Agartala, battling a critical form of cancer.
Biplab Kumar Deb, Member of Parliament, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for personally attending to the request with urgency and empathy. “Ms. Karmakar had appealed for medical assistance, and I immediately forwarded her plea to the PM Relief Fund,” Deb stated. “The approval came swiftly, reflecting the Prime Minister’s sincere consideration for every such application submitted for advanced treatment.”
He further emphasized that multiple medical aid requests have been met with similar sensitivity, highlighting the consistent responsiveness of the Prime Minister’s Office toward the health needs of citizens in distress.
