Police Arrest Long-Standing NDPS Case Fugitive Raja Saha

Agartala, 5th March 2026: Tripura Police from East Agartala Police Station have arrested Raja Saha, a long-standing fugitive in an NDPS case, following a secret operation.

According to police sources, the operation was conducted late last night based on confidential information. Raja Saha was apprehended in the Shani Mandir area near Purba Police Station.

Raja Saha hails from the Town Pratapgarh area of the city and had been evading arrest since 2025 in connection with an NDPS case.

Purba Police Station Officer-in-Charge Subrata Debnath stated that the arrest was made following credible intelligence. Saha is expected to be produced in court today, and the police have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
