Agartala, 30th December 2024: Acting on a tip-off, the Jirania police station successfully apprehended a notorious thief named Biplab Das from SN Colony. The operation led to the recovery of two stolen bikes and a scooty.
A police officer revealed that a case of bike theft was filed with the Jirania police station a few days ago. In recent days, multiple complaints of bike thefts have been reported from different areas. Following these complaints, the police initiated an investigation.
“Based on the tip-off, we managed to arrest Biplab Das and recover two bikes and a scooty from him,” said the officer. The police believe that interrogating Biplab Das will provide valuable information about the thief gang. It was also noted that a case of theft had previously been filed against him.
