Agartala, 14th August 2025: The Office of the Postmaster General, North-East 1, will host a series of postal courts on September 17 to address grievances from both the public and departmental staff. The initiative aims to streamline complaint resolution across various postal services and employee-related matters.
The regional postal courts scheduled for September 17 in Agartala will follow a staggered timeline: the Staff Court will commence at 11:00 AM, followed by the Pension Court at 12:00 PM, the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Court at 1:00 PM, and the Postal Court at 3:00 PM. While the Postal Court is designated to hear public complaints related to postal services, the Staff, Pension, and GDS Courts will focus solely on matters concerning departmental employees.
Written complaints must be submitted to the Postmaster General, North-Eastern Region, Agartala – 799001. Submissions are accepted via regular post, speed post, or email.
Complainants are required to include: Full name and address, Registration receipt number, and For savings schemes or postal life insurance issues: account number and depositor/insurer’s address
All written complaints must reach the designated address by 4:30 PM on September 15. Complaints received after the deadline will be processed through standard channels.
