Power Minister chairs meeting to improve the electricity service

Agartala: July 05. Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today held a meeting with the officials of the TSECL in Agartala on Wednesday to improve the electricity service from the present condition.

The minister also held a meeting with other power workers including engineers of extended Agartala before meeting with other officials including the managing director, general secretary, secretary, and deputy secretary of the corporation.

In this meeting, he said, this time, all the equipment including workers and vehicles will be given to various areas as required for improvement. But he wants to improve the electricity situation.

According to him, stormy rain may damage the line. The transformer may be damaged. Tree branches may fall on the line. Or there may be other problems. But the power situation should be normalized as soon as possible by fixing the lines quickly.

For this reason, he also ordered the officers of the corporation to make surprise visits to different areas.

Accordingly, the officials of the corporation will go on a tour of different areas from Thursday. Officials will take necessary steps after hearing the statements of the people of the concerned area, the statements of traders and the statements of other government officials. The minister said that power sector is now the most priority sector and he emphasized on overtime of staff officers if necessary.
