Agartala, 30th August 2025: The Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today strongly criticized the Congress for what it called a “nationwide propaganda campaign” ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.
Speaking at a press conference held at the state BJP office, party spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharya said the people would give a “befitting reply” to the Congress in the near future.
Bhattacharya accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of making “baseless and misleading comments” against the central leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, are clearly panicking. Their old political tactics no longer resonate with the public, which is why they are resorting to propaganda,” he added.
The BJP spokesperson also condemned remarks allegedly made by Rahul Gandhi and RJD leaders about the late mother of Prime Minister Modi. “Ideological differences between parties are understandable, but making personal and hurtful comments about someone’s late mother is completely unacceptable. Rahul Gandhi and RJD leaders must apologize,” Bhattacharya demanded.
