Agartala, 24th November 2025: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma on Sunday alleged that individuals with no fixed political affiliation are instigating violence between the BJP and the Tipra Motha Party for personal gain and to tarnish Tripura’s image.
After visiting the torched party office at Khumulwng and meeting injured workers, he said a conspiracy is underway to damage his relationship with the Chief Minister. He noted that while he was in touch with the DGP during the unrest, rumours were deliberately spread.
Pradyot said these miscreants frequently shift between parties for money and protection, stressing that no Tipra Motha member would burn their own office. He urged action against such criminal elements and called for peace and development for both tribal and non-tribal communities. He added that he and the Chief Minister share a good understanding and do not want violence to disrupt it.
