Pradyot Kishore Debbarman offers prayer at Chaturdash Devta Mandir, Khayerpur

Agartala, 14th July 2024:  The traditional Kharchi Puja, a significant festival for the local community commenced on Sunday and will span over seven days. Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, the founder of Tipra Motha party visited the temple of the fourteenth deities early in the morning to offer prayers for the well-being of the state’s residents.

Following his prayers, Debbarman engaged with pilgrims waiting in a long line outside the temple extending his wishes for a prosperous Kharchi Puja. He was accompanied by Minister Brishaketu Debbarma and other officials during the event.

In an interview, Debbarman emphasized the importance of Kharchi Puja stating, “If you want to do anything in life, you must not forget existence. We cannot succeed if we neglect our culture and traditions.”
