Agartala, 17th December 2025: Pradyot Kishore Debbarman has urged the authorities of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTADC) to appoint Monishankar Murasinkar as the brand ambassador of the Council and to involve him actively in the promotion of cricket.
Sharing his views on social media, Debbarman emphasized the importance of recognizing Murasinkar’s achievements and contribution to sports. He wrote that irrespective of whether the Indian Premier League (IPL) takes place or not, Murasinkar has made everyone proud through his dedication and performance.
Debbarman further stated that it is the collective responsibility of society and institutions to give due recognition to such talents and to encourage them so that sports, especially cricket, can flourish among the youth.
His appeal has sparked discussions on social media, with many supporting the idea of honoring local sporting icons and utilizing their influence to promote sports development in the region.
