Agartala, 4th April 2026: With the upcoming elections drawing closer, the BJP intensified its campaign in the Birchandra Manu–Manpathar market area through a rally and street meeting in support of its candidates. Sanjib Reang, the party’s nominee from the 26-Birchandra Kalsi constituency, and Padmalochan Tripura, contesting from the 22-Kathalia Rajapur Mirza constituency, were the focus of the event organized by the Santirbazar BJP Mandal.
The rally began from the Birchandra Manu BJP office and moved through several localities before culminating in a market meeting at Manpathar. A large turnout of party workers and supporters was observed, highlighting the momentum of the campaign.
Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Pramod Reang, Santirbazar Mandal President Debasish Bhowmik, along with the two BJP candidates, were present at the program.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Singha Roy launched a sharp attack on the ADC administration, alleging that corruption has increased under the leadership of Pradyot Kishore. He accused CK Jamatia of being the “main architect of corruption” within the ADC and urged voters to ensure the victory of BJP candidates for the sake of development.
The meeting concluded with visible enthusiasm among party workers and supporters, who expressed confidence in securing electoral success.
