Agartala, June 02, 2023: On the occasion of 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in service, a month-long programme has been initiated across the state to highlight the activities done by the central government under his visionary leadership across the state.
As part of this, union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik on Friday conducted a “Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan” (Massive Public Relation Campaign) at Amtali, Aralia, Dakshin Charilam etc. under Charilam assembly constituency.
Bhoumik was accompanied by Sepahijala (North) district President Gouranga Bhowmik, Vice-President Amal Debnath, Janajati Morcha district president Kanuraj Debbarma, district secretary Tapas Das, Charilam Mandal office secretary Anup Debnath, participated in the interaction with the new voters at the new bhavan at Bishramganj motorstand area after the end of the Public Relations campaign. Union minister welcomed the new voters with flowers.
On the occasion of 9 years of Modi government in Charilam Leela Dev Smriti Hall, Bhoumik also held a discussion with the workers, helpers and members of Angawadi Kendra, ASHA, Self-Help Groups, etc. She was accompanied BJP state leaders Mousumi Das, Mahila Morcha mandal president Kakali Deb, Mandal president Rajkumar Debnath, etc. while Rupali Sarkar represented ASHA workers and Jyotshna Bhowmik for SHGs.
During the discussion at Charilam Hall, the Union Minister of State said that religious minority mothers should get together and raise ducks, chickens, cows and goats, Janjati mothers, start raising pigs, fish, i.e. start integrated farming.
The government will provide whatever help is needed for this work, she said at a function organized by Charilam Mandal on Friday to discuss various schemes of Modi government for ASHA, Anganwadi Workers and Self Help Groups at Charilam Community Hall as part of BJP’s month-long program across the state to mark 9 years of Modi government at the Centre.
Bhoumik also said that the presence of all members of self help groups, Anganwadi workers and Asha workers in Charilam Assembly including her in this meeting was significant.
