Pratima Bhoumik urges people to light lamps for Ram Mandir inauguration

Agartala, January 20: Union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik appealed to the people of the state to light lamps in their houses on January 22, the occasion of Ramlala’s life, to celebrate the inauguration of Ram Mandir. She said that Lord Sri Ram would enter every house on this day and bless the people.

As part of the nationwide campaign by saffron camp, Bhoumik distributed flag with imprints of Lord Ram, a traditional sweet, among the traders of Durga Chowmuhani market on Saturday.

She also asked them to wear the flag of Ram Mandir and join the festivities. She said that the construction of Ram Mandir was a historic achievement and a matter of pride for the country.
