Pratima distributes employment letters to 48 youths at Rozgar Mela in Dimapur

Agartala: June 13. Rozgar Mela is a golden opportunity for new recruits to build the nation and move the country forward.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik said this in a speech given at the Rozgar Mela held in Dimapur today while distributing appointment letters to the hands of 48 youths of North East.

Addressing the new recruits as the chief guest at today’s Rozgar Mela, the minister said, “You have huge responsibilities in various government offices.”

She emphasized that connectivity is very important for the overall development of a region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid special emphasis on infrastructural development of the Northeast region such as rail, road and air connectivity. In the relevant speech, the Union Minister also highlighted various programs like Startup India, Standup India and the Prime Minister’s existing schemes for job creation in the country.

Incidentally, Rozgar Mela held at 43 places across India for the distribution of appointment letters in various departments of the Central Government was held today for the second time in Dimapur. The first Rojgar Mela was held at the same place on May 16. Today, 58 new recruits from the region were scheduled to hand over their offer letters at the job fair. But due to unavoidable reasons, 10 candidates could not come to today’s earnings fair.
