Agartala, 16th April 2024:  Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik, accompanied by Minister Ratan Lal Nath, addressed a public gathering in Kanthalia, Dhanpur, outlining the strides in development and welfare schemes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

At the rally, Pratima underscored the transformative changes witnessed in Dhanpur, citing advancements such as new roads, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, provision of drinking water, and sanitation facilities. She emphasized the contrast with the past, criticizing communist leaders for their purported inaction over four decades.

Highlighting improvements in accessibility, Bhoumik touted the expansion of the railway line from Sabroom to Churaibari, paralleled by a remarkable increase from one to nine national highways, enhancing connectivity in the region.

Bhoumik attributed the ease of pilgrimage, particularly to Hajj, to Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives, contrasting the financial burdens faced by pilgrims in neighboring countries with India’s facilitative measures under Modi’s leadership.

Promising further healthcare reforms, Bhoumik pledged Ayushman card benefits for citizens above 70, ensuring medical assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh, indicative of the government’s commitment to the welfare of every stratum of society.

Drawing on statistical projections, she expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) electoral prospects, correlating the increased beneficiary count with potential votes, signaling optimism for a significant electoral mandate.

In her impassioned appeal, Bhowmik urged BJP’s candidate to secure a resounding victory, buoyed by the party’s developmental agenda and welfare commitments.
