Following his arrest, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) from the state police department was dispatched to Jharkhand to secure his transfer.

Upon his arrival in Tripura, Kar underwent a mandatory health check-up at GB Hospital. The medical procedures concluded without incident, and he was subsequently escorted to the local police station. Authorities are preparing to present Kar before the court today, seeking an official police remand for further interrogation.
