Problems of 10, 323 will be solved on humanitarian basis: CM

Agartala: September 28. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today assured the sacked 10, 323 teachers that they will be rehabilitated ground with as per law.

Soon after the meeting with a section of terminated 10, 323, the CM said, “I have promised that I will talk with them so today they came and I have listened to their problems and they also flagged some issues. As per law we will take appropriate masseurs. We will try to rehabilitate them on humanitarian ground as we can’t violate order of Supreme Court. We will talk with lawyers, cabinet ministers and will try to solve their issue”.

Today afternoon, a two team of 10, 323 met Chief Minister separately and spoke about their issues.

Later on the issue, Bijay Krishna Saha said, “After the meeting with the Chief Minister, it was understood that the demand that had been made showing the RTI for so long was a fair demand. The chief minister said he would discuss the matter with legal experts. But as this is festive session he couldn’t do anything. After Durga puja in an extended form he will hold a meeting with the lawyers and has also assured us. The CM has also asked for some documents which we will submit soon. After the discussion with CM it was clear that our demand was a fair demand”.

Dalia Das, said that the Chief Minister met them under pressure. But it has become clear that the government has no intention to return their jobs. She also expressed her displeasure that no deadline was fixed for giving them jobs.
