Agartala, September 23, 2023: In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, a vibrant procession took center stage on Saturday. The event, meticulously organized in front of the Jagharimura Health and Wellness Center, was spearheaded by the West District Health Department and the Jagharimura Health and Wellness Center.
Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Corporator Alok Bhattacharjee and West District Program Coordinator Dr. Debajyoti Ghosh, led the procession. The lively procession traversed various thoroughfares within Agartala city, with its primary objective being to raise awareness among the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, Corporator Alok Bhattacharjee emphasized the inclusivity of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, stating that people from all walks of life would be encompassed by the initiative. He underlined that the success and profitability of this project would be realized through its widespread adoption and utilization.
