Agartala, 30th November 2023: A prominent businessman of Sabroom died after being hit by a bike. The deceased identified as Gaur Sundar Basak, an established businessman of Sabroom. According to the details of the incident, Gaur Sundar Basak is a resident of Anandparad area of Sabroom.
He went to an event on November 24 last night. While returning home from there, a drunk bike rider hit the he very hard when the driver lost control of his bike. Then Gaur Sundar fell on the road side. On being informed about the incident, the firemen rescued him from the spot and took him to Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital. His family members also rushed to the Hospital after being informed about the incident. He was referred to GB Hospital for advanced treatment from. Since then, he was battling with death at GB Hospital. Finally, on Wednesday night, all the efforts of the doctors failed. It is known that the driver of the killer bike is Shantanu Dey. The house is in Damdama area of Sabroom. Police are yet to arrest the killer bike rider. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members.
